dear dr. milanifar,
i am writing to say thanks, and to provide you with an unsolicited
testimonial about my experience as your customer/patient.
i am an american and have lived in london for 7 years now. it took me
6 years to work up the courage to see a "british dentist" (all the
stories and jokes we have about british teeth ... you understand).
every year, my christmas trip back to chicago included a trip to the
dentist - waste of holiday time indeed!
my london dentist experience started with a very pricey guy on harley
street, must be safe and good given the address, right? not so! i
won't go into details here, but suffice to say that after 2 visits
just to get my teeth cleaned, at a total cost to me of £180, for a
hygenist, i was looking for a new dentist!
i found your office on my walk home from paddington one afternoon, and
after having my first visit with you, i knew my search for a dentist
was over!
as you know, i am a difficult patient and really fear/loathe attending
"the dentist." but you were patient, and gentle, and the cleaning
actually didn't hurt...that much.
i was surprised by how modern/state-of-the art the equipment was,
better than anything i've ever seen in chicago. and i very much
appreciated getting specific/personalised advice on at home care and
cleaning tips.
more importantly, your work on replacing my inlay/filling thing was
absolutely unbelievable!!! i had lived with that
god-awful-huge-leaky-thing-filling in my mouth for so long, inserted
after 3 tries by doctor butcher, so many years ago. the one you have
done blends in perfectly with my tooth, can barely see it, can't feel
it at all!
amazing.
you still have a way to go convincing me on the whitening. although i
see your point, my lifestyle indicates that teeth will become stained
again so soon...why bother? anyway, keep trying!
thanks and best of luck with your new location.
best regards,
angela

Yes, it is a pub, but its real name used to be the Bedford Hotel. I think it still has 1 or 2 rooms to rent in the attic these days. Most of the 1st floor was completely rebuilt a few years ago.
Most people just call it "the Bedford".

It sits on Bedford Hill which was famed for prostitution in the 1970's and 80's.
