I recently went from here walked to Greenwich, and it was a lovely 5 miles walk. Passing many derelict and disused wharfs, in it's heyday, it must be a very busy port.

My ancestor, 18th C sugar refiner harman samler is also buried here. his daughter Mary maried Sir john eamer who became Lord Mayor of london in 1801.
