Water reservoir,

The first reservoir at Streatham Hill was constructed by the Lambeth Waterworks company in 1832. There have been various subsequent expansions of the reservoir. The reservoir has always been covered, and in aerial photos appears as open space becaause of the grass now growing on top.
The reservoir is surrounded by a brick wall topped with broken glass to prevent intruders.
The internal structure of the reservoir consists of transverse walls made of double brick arches forming "O" shapes. During a rare emptying of the reservoir for maintenance, the local MP, Keith Hill - whose home is very close nearby - was admitted for a photo opportunity inside the structure.

Dear sirs!
Anglian College London's address is 18-36 Wellington Street, Woolwich, London SE18 6PF.
The current Wikimapia is slightly incorrect in that the College is actually the front building withing the square. The square is right but it is the big front building along Wellington Street - the other buildings are something else.
Thank you for the corrections and you could approve it too.

I have lived in Barnes my whole life and have just discovered the hidden cemetery, I agree with you and would definitely take part in helping it return to a place that can be properly appreciated...

The aviation connection is solely with Newhaven, and the building is listed (I think) because of it. Land to SW is site of Wimbledon West (marshalling) Yard & pre-dates the Wright Bros. Some of the tracks still visible in places, closed in.....early 70's?
