  • Riverside Lands Playing Fields, Old Meads (guest) wrote 11 years ago:
The fields have been managed and maintained by Old Meadonians FC (formed by ex pupils of Chiswick Grammar School in 1929) since 2001. London Borough of Hounslow Council granted a 20 year rolling management agreement in 2007 incorporating Chiswick Rugby Club. All maintenance work is carried out Monday to Friday and at the weekends over 600 people enjoy the facilities. Football, Rugby, Softball, Frisbee, mini Rugby and "one off" sports related events. This facility is a pre-booked venue and any use does need to be charged. As these are privately managed Sports Fields, in line with local Authority bye laws on Dogs, a total Dog exclusion policy is in force. Access is from two gates. One on the Chertsey Road and one on Dan Mason Drive. These are locked when there is no sporting activity taking place.

  • Middlesex Street Estate Petticoat Square, resident (guest) wrote 11 years ago:
These comments do not relate to Middlesex St Estate. There is no Alliance House and is nowhere near West Ham. There is no Star Laundry or any butcher shop near by.
  • Finchley Memorial Hospital, wicksteedc wrote 11 years ago:
I just changed the outline. In case anyone wonders why the old outline was so inaccurate, I should explain that a new hospital has been built next to the old one, and the old one has been knocked down and the area is now a park.

  • Frinstead House, BrianP (guest) wrote 11 years ago:
Frinstead House was actually built in the late 1960's. I lived on the 13th floor from 1971 to 1982. It overlooks the Westway and is one of 3 identical tower blocks in that immediate area, overlooking Latimer Road underground station. It was a good place to live in those days ... but not so good these days.

I disagree, You should be doing your utmost to comply with the regulations in the first place. Remember, they must come across enough breaches concerning drivers and vehicles regulations. You may not like them but they are there for your safety and the safety of the public. Yes, innocent drivers may be treated harshly but lives are on the line.
