This is actually home to over 30 terapins and nearly a hundred carp. Its a shame that locals dont take better care of it. Currently a bicycle can be seen in the water and a couple of years ago a car crashed into it, spilling out oil. Such a shame...

Following the collapse of the Rileys chain into administration in 2009, this branch was one of the ones that has now closed. The future of the site is unlear - it;s the sort of unit that would typically become a branch of Tesco, but they already own the site immediately opposite!
  • Lord's Cricket Ground, ZacharyKent wrote 15 years ago:
To arup, I have to disagree Marylebone Cricket Club owns this famous cricket ground not Sourav Ganguly. I don't think Sourav Ganguly will want to stay much in the UK in general probably because the weather here tends to be poor. As I have been to India myself, the weather over there is much more desirable. :-)

Though Wikipedia named London UNDERGROUND stations as “TUBE” stns, the official denomination may be well that given by Transport for London: you won't see anything but Uground on their website.

The area along Uffington Road is not Harlesden, it belongs to Willesden Green ward. Willesden Sport's Centre is also quite clearly in Willesden.

  • Crown Wharf redevelopment site, anonymous (guest) wrote 15 years ago:
I think you've got the wrong site here! Crown Wharf (and yes, wharf are commonly pleasing names for developments in the property world) is way up north, close to the Omega works and just south of the Olympic Park. This is the location of Priors Wharf which, by the way, is safeguarded by the Mayor of London from redevelopment into speculative housing.
