It is beautiful from the outside, and located in an interesting area. Not always open though, unfortunately.
  • Kings Cross railway station - suburban platforms, danni (guest) wrote 18 years ago:

    - as with all other cycling facilities around the former Eastway, will be cut in half or even much, much more for our so-called Legacy? Per the world-famous Cycle Circuit?

This post office is unfortunately closed. The adjacent sorting office still functions.
  • St James's Square Gardens, LordCaes wrote 18 years ago:
A rather un-healthy amount of drunks here, perhaps hoping for an aristocrat to give them money to clean themselves up. You would think it the poshest square in London, you would be wrong.

  • The Cittie of Yorke Public House, Lord_Caes (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
It's a great place for quiet chats about infidelity and the such like. And the Sam Smiths beer is cheap.
  • Adam & Eve, Lord_Caes (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
    It's a bit fake.

Posh block of Council Flats; not all that well managed -lift number two has not been allocated enough money to fix it since it became faulty four years ago. Many old folk have been traumatised when stuck in it; and other residents on lower eight floors have been known to use the stairs rather than use lift number two. It is said, ... there is another lift, number one; use that ! Some nusiance neighbours are not delt with adequetly and cause others to suffer; repairs are always only halfly done and leaky plumbing ruins ceilings from a leak for sometimes three floors downward. Many telephone masts on the rooftop ensure a good cell-phone reception, this is one advantage.

  • Tabard Square, GuyMMiller (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
Development by Berkely Homes. Described by the builders as: A striking development set around a magnificent sculptured pavilion and landscaped square. The Tower and Ellipse buildings offer a variety of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and penthouses, all designed to a highly contemporary specification.
