They should mark new prime meridian. Greenwich Park can have two meridians. That will be something!

It closed in 2006 as a separate attraction and is now part of Madame Tussaud's. From 2010 forward, the building that once housed the London Planetarium houses the Marvel Superheroes 4D attraction.

Myatts Field North is currently undergoing regeneration with plans to build an outstanding design range of homes for sale, affordable, and social housing. There are already a number of signs that gentrification is returning to the area, with a prestigious property agent, Foxton's, putting down roots on Brixton High Street. One of the main schools in the area, Durand Academy, recently purchased its own boarding school in an exciting educational initiative which has gained national headlines. Myatts Field North was once famous for growing rhubarb and strawberries, and the historic names around the area, reveal other links with the French Huguenots and older refugees of the past. The area is a vibrant and bustling community with very short access to the city and to tourist areas. News of the area is maintained by Myatts North Futures - a forum which provides information on local facilities, property development, leisure activities and social events. The central locality of Myatts Field North makes it a very attractive area to consider for anyone seeking a home near to the West End, theatres, shopping and the business and financial cogs that make up the City of London.

It was not simply too many people. It was just a few people at first who happen to be in step - all happening to use the upstream or downstream foot at the same time. Then other people would feel the first faint tremor and, much as sailors get used to walking on a heaving deck, the later people would almost by reflex fall into step with the first few. Quickly the "wobble" would grow until it could became a problem for people to walk at all. It comes from a bridge being too flexible and having the right stimulus to cause it to resonate. Look up the Tacoma Narrows Bridge or the military command, "Break step , March" given when crossing some bridges.

A simply delightful retreat. We live very nearby in Coventry, and often spend time in this woodland unwinding.
